12/19/2024 - Malou, hygienist, performed my second Quad cleaning today. I am very pleased her performance thanks for my wife's recommendation to see her. I arrived to the waiting room 10 minutes earlier, but enjoyed watching a few beautiful salt fishes swimming in a clean tank at a clean lobby - see a 10-second video for your reference. Note: I have not yet received any treatment from any dentists since I visited this office for my teeth cleaning one year ago. So, I reserved my final judgement for my final review of this office in whole, but has given a 5-star rating for two hygienists' performance! 12/14/2024 - Roya, hygienist, performed my deep cleaning, known as perio scale/root, for one quad, this morning, plus a Gingival Irrigation that is a 1-minute task at the end of my deep cleaning by using PERIDEX ORAL RINSE to RINSE my quad area via a syringe to kill some potential bacteria at that quad area. On the other hand, my famous PPO insurance company (Not UnitedHealthcare) will not cover that 1-minute PERIDEX ORAL RINSE task, meaning I must pay for an extra $50 per quad in addition to a 20% of the total cleaning cost. Again, Gingival Irrigation is not an injection procedure, but simply RINSE the cleaned area in about 30 seconds at the end of the cleaning. I will call my dental insurance company next week to ask the reason why it will not cover this 30-second to 1-minute RINSE task on the cleaned area right after a deep cleaning procedure. Roya is a highly skilled hygienist in my opinion (a 5-star rating) because I witnessed her performance during my deep cleaning procedure and had my best experience among all previous hygiene experiences many, many years among all different dentists' offices. Thank you, Roya (5 stars). Dr. Lau, graduated from USC, told me in person a few weeks ago after my regular hygiene visit that he has been hiring highly skilled hygienists in his office. I noticed his office has been using the most advanced equipment in the dental industry. Thank you, Dr Lau.

I absolutely love coming to this dental office. The front desk staff is so kind, patient and accommodating and the dentist that I’ve seen for a couple of years now (Dr. Casey) is very knowledgeable and friendly. I like this place so much I now bring my kids here to get their cleanings done! I would highly recommend for anyone searching for a new dentist to call home in the San Fernando Valley.

Dr Lau and the whole office is great . His daughter Kayla is also wonderful. Very smart and efficient. She did my bonding today and all went well. I’ll be back next week for more . Also Susie was really helpful with planning out my schedule and payments . Everyone there is excellent at their jobs . I get my teeth cleaned every 3 months and they do an amazing job . I trust everyone there to do a top quality job . My whole family goes there and has for a long time.

The dentist (mostly the dental assistant) at Mid-Valley re-cemented my upper veneer that recently de-laminated. This was an emergency visit. Within the first 12 hours, the veneer popped off AGAIN! When the dentist (mostly the dental assistant) at Mid-Valley reinstalled the veneer, it didn't really feel properly attached. The gaps didn't feel correct, and, I mentioned that. When I called Mid-Valley for another appointment to re-cement the veneer, I was told that the dentist didn't want to re-cement it again but wanted me to come in to do a new crown instead of re-cementing the veneer. Great for them ($$) bad for me! This veneer is only 24 months old, originally installed outside California. Mid Valley also claimed I had a cavity in one of my upper teeth. So, I went to another dentist who properly reinstalled the veneer and was told that it isn't unusual for veneers to occasionally de-laminate and that it can easily be re-attached. It's been on for a couple of weeks now and survived several steak dinners and feels as solid as a rock. Also, following X-rays and a proper teeth cleaning there was no evidence of cavities noted by the new dentist. My experience with Mid Valley; Attractive office, questionable tactics and service.

Simply amazing service! Entire staff is so kind and on their game. There are no words to describe how professional everyone is in that office. I’m always speechless on how much my Doctor is always supervising and present in helping me accommodate any concerns needed. They take the fear out of going to the dentist/surgeon and make it as comfortable as possible in that beautiful building. I give them a 10+++ in all categories.
