Dr.Alyssa Shaikh was born and raised in Michigan. She received her B.A. in Music from Western Michigan University. She earned her doctorate degree in Dental Surgery at the University of Detroit Mercy. Dr. Alyssa continued her studies in a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program through the University of Detroit Mercy and St. John Providence Healthcare System. She completed a 2.5-year residency program and earned a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry degree from the University of Colorado.

Following residency, Dr. Alyssa practiced in Southern Colorado for several years and also taught at the University of Colorado orthodontic residency program. She loves to help people feel confident about their smiles and strives to provide a fun patient experience.

Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs. She loves music, dancing, hiking, paddle sports, and beach days.
