Gregory C. Romanow, DMD Bio

Dr. Gregory Romanow is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and by the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He holds active staff privileges at Shady Grove Hospital in Rockville, Md. He has worked with the Greater Maryland Center for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since 2005. Dr. Romanow is consistently recognized by his peers as a “Top Dentist” in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Washingtonian magazine.

Dr. Romanow graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Biology. He then attended Temple University School of Dentistry. While there he was inducted into the Omega Kappa Upsilon honor dental society and was awarded the Oral Surgery Award to an outstanding student who shows excellence in the surgical aspects of dentistry. Dr. Romanow continued his training at the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program at the Montefiore Medical Center of the Albert Einstein Medical College in the Bronx, NY. During his time here, he was a chief resident and presented at the New York College Institute of Pathology.Dr. Romanow is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology, the Maryland Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, and the Maryland State Dental Association.

Professionally, Dr. Romanow is fortunate to participate in many charitable efforts, including a trip to Haiti to provide dental care to rural areas. Dr. Romanow is interested in continuing education and provides his patients with the most current technologies for state-of-the-art surgical treatment and patient comfort.
