Dr. Scott has performed over 35,000 root canals in his career! He graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, served in the United States Navy, and went on to receive his Certificate in Endodontics and Master of Science degree from Northwestern University. During his time at Northwestern University Dental School, he was also on the attending staff at Evanston Hospital and on the faculty as a Clinical Assistant Professor. Dr. Scott was the first to bring Microscopic Endodontics” to Brevard.
Dr. Scott, and his wife, Diane raised their three children in Brevard County. Dr. Scott and his family fell in love with Melbourne and the Brevard County area, especially after seeing the timeless charm of the unique, historic renovated dental office on Palmetto Ave. Stepping into the office, he knew that building an excellent Endodontic practice in Brevard County was his mission. Diane has been valuable in restoring the building to its original charm and maintaining it as a historic building in Melbourne. Dr. Scott was the first to bring Microscopic Endodontics to the area and to believe in the commitment to utilizing Microscopic Endodontics for every patient in every case. Patients can feel at ease knowing that Dr. Scott utilizes advanced technology including microscopes and relaxing amenities to keep you calm and happy as you visit our offices.
Just like all parents, they are proud of their children’s successes who grew up in Brevard County. Troy, a graduate of Holy Trinity High School and University of Northern Colorado, is a professional golf coach in Houston. Trent, a graduate of Holy Trinity in Melbourne, went on to graduate from UCF Orlando and graduated Law School. Their youngest, Stefanie Scott, who attended Holy Trinity, is a well-known actress in Los Angeles having appeared on The Disney Channel on the hit TV series “ANT Farm,” and Disney Channel movie “Frenmies” with Zendaya. Stefanie has appeared in other films including “Insidious 3”, “No Strings Attached”, “Jem & the Holograms” and the film with Pierce Brosnan, “I.T.” and Lifetime’s Original Movie, “The Girl in the Basement” which she played the lead.
