      DDS米切尔·路德（Mitchell Rudd） 生化

      Dr. Rudd graduated from of the University of Utah Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science (BS) Degree in Psychology and Minor in Chemistry. He then received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 2000 also with honors.

      Dr. Rudd completed his specialty certificate training in Endodontics at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and is also a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.

      Only about 20% of all Endodontists become board certified due to the difficulty of passing all the required examinations.
      Dr. Rudd is a Past President of the Salt Lake District of the Utah Dental Association. He is also a Past President of the Utah Association of Endodontists.
      Dr. Rudd is an Adjunct Faculty Member at the University of Utah School of Dentistry and Attending Doctor at the University of Utah Hospital where he teaches Dental Residents.
      He has worked to create an office and staff environment focused on providing the most competent and advanced endodontic therapy available.

      Dr. Rudd is married with three boys 19, 15, & 12. Spending time with his beautiful wife and children on the lake or in the mountains and teaching his kids to play sports are his favorite hobbies.

        Dr. Rudd did an amazing job on my tooth! Getting a Root Canal is right up there with giving birth with a difficult delivery but he made it not seem so bad at all. I had some ear plugs and sunglasses. I wish I had had some music earbuds...it would have helped even more..but all in all..it went well and he did great!! Thank you!!

        FANTASTIC experience. At the front desk, Cyprus had all my required forms prepared and offered a bottle of water, all with a smile.(I won’t hold it against you that you didn’t have sparkling water or lime, Cyprus!) When I went back for treatment, Dr. Rudd determined I needed a second root canal, and Cyprus & the team quickly got approval from the VA to do so while we waited. The dental assistant, Morgan, provided the warmest expirience I’ve ever had in a dental office, offering comfort, warmth, and sympathy in a couple of moments when things got very painful. As for the procedure itself, Dr.Rudd was a total professional, & was calm, cool, and concise. He told me exactly what was wrong, what I would need done, then executed the procedure efficiently. When the procedure was over I got some meds with instructions and was on my way. I hope I never see anyone there again… but only in the office! I would absolutely recommend the practice if you are needing work done.

        The surgery itself went well, and they got me in fairly quickly. Efficient would be the word to describe the experience, even my dentist agreed. The front desk staff were the warmest part of the visit. I understand Dr. Rudd probably jumps from one patient to another daily, and I sympathize with the busy schedule. However, the lack of communication of process and empathy for patients was the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

        I could not have been happier with SL Endodontics. I was in sort of a rush and had to have a root canal within a day as my insurance was ending and not starting up again until a few weeks later. To avoid paying COBRA I called around to see who could squeeze me in. The same day, maybe 3 hours after I called and was put on the waiting list, they squeezed me in. They were staying open late for another emergency visit and I LUCKED OUT! Everyone at this location was amazing, patient, explained what was going on, and got it done as painless and quickly as they could. Dr. Rudd was very personable and knew what he was doing. I highly recommend.

        Dr. Rudd is a tooth saver! Cracked my tooth got me in next day! Really nice guy and very friendly staff! Second time coming here for different reasons of course. Highly recommend. I almost fell asleep while doing my root canal once I was fully numbed. Thank you all again!
