I called them on a Monday afternoon and they were able to connect with my dentist to get my most recent images, determine the likely work needed and provide an estimate in no time at all, and they got me in the very next morning. Everything went smoothly, just as had been discussed. I was nervous about my first root canal but it was completely painless. The Dr. and all the staff were knowledgeable and friendly.

GO ANYWHERE ELSE. Rudd charges $700 out-of-pocket up front for a root canal. My insurance has no idea about it, they think he billed me $249 after they paid him thousands. That’s who is buying Rudd’s big house: we are!! It’s unethical & immoral. I still had extensive pain AFTER the root canal, Rudd said it looked fine so I got the expensive crown, still lots of pain. The dentist who recommended Rudd then sent me back to Rudd who charged me $300 out-of-pocket to remove the tooth!! When I was in the chair he told me he would reverse the charge for the removal but he never did. The pain, the botched root canal, the money grab from my insurance and out of my pocket — all of it is disgusting and unethical, and I was in pain for many weeks. Dr Rudd also intentionally hurt me. Twice. The first time I visited I thought the pain was coming from the tooth next door to the cracked tooth. So without telling me what he was doing, he took cold spray and sprayed both teeth. The pain was excruciating and it was an ugly surprise - I had just met him and I’m there because I’m in pain. He clearly enjoyed that. I should have walked out right then but I was in pain and wanted relief, which I thought the root canal would bring me. What a sadist jerk. The second time Rudd hurt me was on my 4th visit after the root canal and the crown, and no pain relief. He announced that the X-ray shows a hole where tooth material should be and isn’t (a crack). I was trying to understand the visual, and to prove his point he poked a deep probe along the edge of my tooth into the hole and I screamed. JUST GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

I got an appointment much sooner than anticipated. I can’t imagine that doing a root canal in an infected, calcified root was much fun for any of us. But Dr. Rudd got it done efficiently and fairly painlessly. And then was willing to answer my questions thoroughly. I recommend him highly.

If I could give greater than 5 stars I would. I highly recommend Dr Rudd. I have a great fear of any type of dental visit but he makes his patients feel calm & unafraid. He explains everything & is very kind. He is very gentle with the procedures and he provides exceptional care. The dental assistants and the office staff are very kind, knowledgeable, & helpful as well.

I can’t say thank you enough. From the first call to my appointment day, the team was wonderful and very informative. I traveled from Elko, NV and the team did not disappoint. The front desk girls are friendly and present a very welcoming atmosphere. My dental assistant Diana was also friendly and informative. The relationship from dental assistant to Dr made the appointment feel at ease. Dr Rudd is quick and efficient with his work. I couldn’t be any more pleased.
