This truly does make a difference in the shot experience! I definitely would recommend that every dental office use the Dental Vibe!
I still felt a little pain, but it was definitely a better experience.
Aside from the fact that my dentist is really gentle and talks to me the whole time through any procedure , the injection pain was left unnoticed. The vibration definitely distracted me from the usually anticipation of pain while being injected with the needle.
at first i didn’t know what the vibrating thing was but my dentist explained that it was to help make the injection much easier. He was right! My mouth was so concentrated with the vibrations i didnt even notice the injection happening until my mouth started going numb, it was a great experience and wish all dental work ive received had had this availible.
I had teeth extracted today, and during the injections to numb my mouth, DentalVibe was used and I didn’t feel any pain from the injections.
Never felt the shots!
I would have felt the needle much more if they didn’t use it
that thing is pretty neat
That helped a lot

I went to the dentist to get a cavity filled. I am not a fan of the shot but would rather have than not. When the dentist went to give me the shot, he brought out the DentalVibe. I did not know what was going on at first but I did notice as he was giving me the shot that it did not hurt nearly as much. Once the dentist was finished giving me the shot, he explained what the DentalVibe does. I told him I was so glad he got it as it made the shot much better to handle.

The vibrations truly blocked any acute pain sensation with administration of injections. What a wonderful contribution to dentistry, for patient comfort.

The vibration diminishes the sensation of the injection. I greatly prefer that distraction where the injection seems to be a background thing.

For anesthesia for a prep for a crown the Dental Vibe was used and helped a lot. I did not feel the injection. And I have always felt them which has caused major anxiety over the years.

I hate needles and everything to do with the dentist. Had to get a few cavities filled in for 2 different appointments. First experience was so good that I had to ask for it the next time! No pain and quite the distraction from getting a needle. Can say it was the best experience when getting a needle!

It was a truly pain-free experience. If I hadn’t known I was getting a shot, I would have thought I was getting a face massage! Grand improvement over the previous way!

The Dental Vibe was very interesting! It took my mind off of the needle. There was so much going on that I hardly even noticed the needle. I would recommend it and do it again! :)
To run a successful dental practice, you have to stand out from the competition. Patients have never had more options for dental care, and they expect more than ever from healthcare providers. While quality care remains crucial, you also need to seek out other ways to improve the overall patient experience. This may include incorporating new technologies into…
Being nervous or afraid to visit the dentist is very common – in fact, it’s so common there’s a name for it: dentophobia. This type of phobia can range from mild to severe, and can cause shortness of breath, elevated heart rate and blood pressure, and other signs of anxiety, such as shaking or a sense of impending doom.
Up to eight percent of Americans avoid seeing the dentist because of anxiety and fear. Although not all of those cases would be classified as dental phobia, a fear of the dentist is a very common issue that can lead to some very serious oral health problems. Let’s examine some of the causes of dental phobia, and what you can do to help your patients address it.
