Q

Why do I get so many cavities even though I brush?

A

Cavities may form in areas that are tough to reach with a toothbrush, even if you brush regularly. If your gums have receded due to gum disease and existing decay, cavities can form in these areas where tooth roots are exposed and not protected by enamel.
