Dr. Fred Chen was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. He received his B.A. in Biology from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He then received his Doctorate Degree in Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Fred then completed a two-year residency program in Pediatric Dentistry at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut.

Through the years Dr. Fred had the privilege of working closely with children, from babysitting in the neighborhood to teaching summer arts camp. As a result, his philosophy on providing patient care is to offer the highest quality care while giving the best experience. Dr. Fred is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.

In his free time, he is an avid runner and outdoors enthusiast. He is excited to be living in a place where he can pursue these passions year-round.
