Dr. Leah Romay grew up on a farm near Reading, Pennsylvania, but always knew she wanted to be a dentist. In pursuit of that goal, she began her studies at the University of Pittsburgh and majored in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Studio Arts.
Following undergrad, she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore. During her time in dental school, she was President of the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honors Society as well as the Vice President of the Maryland Student Chapter of the American Association of Women Dentists.
Upon graduation, she was the recipient of the Hanau “Best of the Best in Prosthodontics” for her excellent hand skills and clinical work. She then completed an additional year of residency training in dental implants and complex dentistry at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.
