Dr. Blanco was born and raised in Cuba. His mother, Dr. Raisa Niurka Sanchez, practiced as a general dentist and later specialized in orthodontics. She has always been one of his biggest personal and professional inspirations. Dr. Blanco’s passion for dentistry began early in life while helping his mother raise awareness about oral health in their small town.

Dr. Blanco moved to the United States in 2005 and attended the University of South Florida where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. While at USF he was a recipient of several scholarships, including the Latino Scholarship which recognizes Latino students for their academic merits. Dr. Blanco graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2015. Dr. Blanco enjoyed all his experiences in dental school, one of his best memories is when he had the amazing opportunity to visit Jamaica for two consecutive years as part of a dental mission trip, the second time he even helped organize the trip. He has also participated in several other volunteer events including the Florida Mission of Mercy.

Since graduating from dental school Dr. Blanco has earned over 300 continuing education hours. He has taken several postdoctoral courses in areas like occlusion, prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontal and general surgery, as well as, implantology. In 2017 Dr. Blanco completed the UF College of Dentistry Implant Educators Comprehensive Interdisciplinary Implant Continuum. He also graduated from the core curriculum of the prestigious Dawson Academy in 2019 alongside his wife Dr. Susana Hernandez.
