Everyone who works on you has training and experience in bringing you the best option for your needs. The dental hygienist are amazing! Oh, and let’s not forget the fabulous Dr. Markowitz who employs only the most experienced staff because like the name says everyone deserves a Great Boca Smile!

I had a great experience during my initial visit to Great Boca Smiles. There was minimum wait time when I arrived and the receptionist was friendly and efficient. The hygienist, Holly explained everything she was doing and did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Cela performed my exam and was great. He used photos of my teeth to show me exactly what he was explaining. The technology they used really helped me understand how, and with their help I can elevate my dental health. I felt super comfortable with all of them. Pricing for sevices was discussed with me up front and provided in writing. My former dentist did not do many of these things so Great Boca Smiles is definitely my new dentist! Thank you Dr. Cela, Holly & Karina!

I moved from NewYork three years ago. It took a very long time to find a competent dental office to trust. I recently found Great Boca Smiles in Boca. I started using Invisalign with them. One of my teeth was fractured. I called them and was immediately given an appointment with Bekim Cela. He is a true professional. His bedside manner was excellent. He was able to create a temporary crown from my Invisalign until my treatment is completed. He was gentle and explained everything to me with such care. He is an extraordinary dentist.

Dr. Cela is so calming and explained everything to me today before he started my procedure. I came in a bit nervous and he relieved all my concerns. I felt his confidence and professionalism which immediately put me at ease. I appreciate him so much. The staff is great as well. You can tell they love what they do and are happy being there. Dr. Cela was recommended to us and I can see why. It has been a great experience.

I was referred to Dr. Markowitz by endodontist, Dr. Barry Ginzler after a pretty unsettling experience with my previous dentist of 14+ years, who told me (through a new associate) that I needed a front tooth pulled—and never followed up when I asked for clarification. From my first visit, Dr. Markowitz was a completely different experience. He took the time to explain the why, walk me through a clear plan, and reassure me that everything would be okay. When I asked about the temporary “flipper” I had been told I’d need, he told me he doesn’t use those—which was a huge relief. I’ll be honest—I don’t love going to the dentist—but with Dr. Markowitz I feel noticeably calmer and never anxious. He’s put my mind completely at ease and is incredibly sensitive to making sure I’m never in discomfort or pain, all while striving for a perfect result. Since then, he’s completed my implant and two crowns, and I can honestly say he’s everything you want in a dentist: detail-oriented, compassionate, and truly invested in his work. What really stood out—he used my previous crown as a temporary during the 9 months of bone healing, so my smile looked completely natural. I’ve worked in healthcare for nearly 30 years, and I can tell you the culture of a practice reflects the doctor. His team is just as kind, competent, and patient-focused as he is. One small but telling moment: I called early one morning and Dr. Cela answered the phone himself because the team was just arriving and he didn’t want the call to go unanswered. That says everything.
