Dr. Deaton earned his bachelors degree in biology from the University of Tennessee at Martin and graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 1993. He and his family reside in Adamsville and are very active in the community, as well as school functions and local church activities. He participates as a member of the Adamsville Lions Club, liaison to the RSVP "Retired and Senior Volunteer Program".
