I have had 2 root canals done here and I must say it was a pleasant experience. Not many would use pleasant in the same sentence as root canal but it was. I had some PTSD about the ability to get this tooth numb due to previous work on the tooth but I felt absolutely no pain at all during the procedure and barely even felt the injections to numb the tooth. Dr Pfister was great at explaining everything and reviewing films with me and his assistant Rhonda was very kind in making sure I was comfortable. I highly recommend this office. I even got a “note” from Renee (office manager) to give to my husband excusing me from housework for the next 2 days. Would not hesitate to use again and again highly recommend.

Scared to death about having my first root canal, Dr. Chen and Bailey made me feel extremely comfortable and made the entire process comfortable!! I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a root canal! As nice as they were I hope not to have to go for a repeat visit :)

My family has had need of 4 root canals in the last 10 years. They have all been done here and we have never had any issues. Dr. Pfister and his staff have always been always extremely professional. The office is comfortable and welcoming. The procedures themselves have all been painless. I highly recommend this office. They make an otherwise unpleasant process pleasant and easy!

If you have any dental anxiety like I do this is the place for you! I ended up needing a root canal after a complication with previous dental work I had done. I was extremely nervous. Of course everything you hear about root canals makes you extremely stressed and anxious about having an in depth procedure like this done. I went in for my consultation and the place is extremely professional, clean, and modern inside. The woman at the front desk let me talk her ear off about my worries and she was such a genuine and kind person. As I was taken back, one of the techs did a couple physical tests to see the tooth’s sensitivity and took a couple X-rays. The endodontist came shortly after and told me that we will need to take the root canal route. I explained to both how nervous I am about the procedure and they prescribed me a medication to take an hour before to help ease my anxiety. I have a horrible fear of needles and was more worried about the numbing portion of the procedure than the actual procedure. I was told to take the medication an hour before my appointment and to have someone drive me to the office and back. I made sure the medication would not interact negatively with any of my other prescriptions by my psychiatrist. The day of my appointment I took my medication an hour beforehand and was nervous because I thought the medication was not working. As I am taken back for my procedure the tech numbs the area with a topical solution and shortly after was given the numbing injection. I barely felt a thing. He also used a tool to vibrate the area to lessen the sensation of the shot. I don’t know if that’s specifically what the vibrating tool was for but it definitely helped with the injection sensation. I was also given “laughing gas” and I felt that helped tremendously also. I ended up falling asleep during the procedure!! Which the Endodontist had told me that usually happens. When I was woken up it had felt like the whole thing was just 20 minutes long from the time I walked in to the time I left the building. It is now the night after my procedure and I have pretty much slept off the drowsy feeling from the anxiety medication. My tooth is slightly sore but I can relate the pain to the same as getting a crown or filling. Definitely no intense pain or discomfort. All in all, this place is great. They have an amazing team, educated techs/lead endodontists, and all around comforting atmosphere. If I need anymore Endodontic work this is my place and will always suggest them for anyone who is looking for Endodontics care. Thank yall for what yall do!
