Dr. Jonathan Fu received his B.S. from the University of California at Irvine and D.D.S. from the University of Southern California. He went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency through the Lutheran Medical Center Hawaii program where he found his calling to be an Endodontist. He subsequently completed his residency in Endodontics at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio where he trained with the world-renowned Dr. Kenneth Hargreaves (author of numerous textbooks and editor of the Journal of Endodontics).

Dr. Fu is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. Only 20% of endodontists hold this designation and Dr. Fu is currently only one of two Board Certified Endodontists in all of SLO County. Prior to starting Coastal Endodontic Studio, Dr. Fu practiced for 6 years in Oahu as a partner at Aloha Endodontics. Dr. Fu holds himself to the highest standard and keeps abreast of the latest technology and literature to provide his patients with the finest quality care. He aims to provide comfortable and compassionate care for every patient. Outside of the office, Dr. Fu enjoys hiking, going to the beach and playing tennis with his family.
