Dr. Kaitlyn Tigges knew early on that a career in dentistry was her calling. She grew up surrounded by a family of dentists, and all through her life has witnessed the positive impact dentistry has on people’s lives. Originally from Carroll, IA, Dr. Tigges completed her Doctoral of Dental Science degree at the University of Iowa.

She enjoys getting to know her patients and building lasting relationships. She brings energy, positivity, and an attention to detail to her work. Dr. Tigges is excited to become an active member of the Ames community, sharing her lifelong passion for dentistry and serving the people of Story County.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Tigges enjoys lots of sports and hobbies. While at the University of Iowa she was involved in over 60 intramural teams! Dr. Tigges also loves music. She sings and plays guitar, ukulele and piano.
