Dr. Sorina Ratchford earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Loma Linda University, where she graduated at the top of her class in 2012. She then went on to pursue post-graduate training at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, where she earned a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry.

Today, she is happy to call Morro Bay her home at Morro Bay Family Dentistry where she has practiced since 2014.

Dr. Ratchford is very involved in organized dentistry, serving as the president of the Central Coast Dental Society and also being a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry, where she is working towards becoming a fellow.

Dr. Ratchford also enjoys giving back to the community as part of the Rotary Club and even going on mission trips abroad to treat the local population.

When she’s not at the office, Dr. Ratchford enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and snowboarding. Her husband Forest is a vital part of the office. They have a daughter, Ellis June, and 2 Boston terriers: Lily and Olive.
