Dr. Michael Tesmer is a native Floridian who earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Florida. He continued his post-graduate periodontal training at UF, completing a three year residency in periodontics. He served as Chief Resident and was very involved in academic instruction, community service, lecturing and investigational research. He is also published in the Journal of Periodontology with an article on dental implants.
He remains very active in the UF College of Dentistry where he serves as courtesy faculty in the periodontology department. He has a caring and genuine rapport with his patients and his team.
