Q

What can I eat after third molar extraction?

A

After having one or more of your third molars extracted, your dentist will recommend eating only liquids and soft foods for the first 24 to 48 hours to avoid pain and to avoid having to chew. Applesauce, yogurt, and pureed foods are ideal to eat for the first few days following tooth extraction. You may start introducing solid foods back into your diet beginning on the third or fourth day when your teeth and gums have healed and are less sensitive.
