Q

What are the stages of tooth eruption?

A

The two upper front teeth and two lower front teeth usually erupt around the age of six months, according to the American Dental Association. Most children have all their primary teeth by the age of three years, and lose their first primary tooth around the age of six years. Primary teeth will gradually fall out between six and 12 years as permanent teeth grow in. Third molars, also known as wisdom teeth, usually erupt between the ages of 17 and 21 years.
