Dr. Kaplan graduated from Clark University, and was rewarded with DMD degree in 1991 by Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He obtained his supplementary experience during his fellowship at the Yale University Dental Residency Program, in New Haven, CT. He has been practicing in Hamden since 1992. Dr. Kaplan is a member of many professional associations such as The American Dental Association, The Connecticut Dental Association, The New Haven Dental Association, and The Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Kaplan lives in Orange with his wife, Judy. He has participated in many charitable events, including several years at the “Mission of Mercy” free dentistry event, held in CT yearly. Dr. Kaplan is an avid golfer, enjoys long bike rides, participating in several fund raising bicycle events, and is a certified SCUBA diver.
