Dr. Kathleen Anderson grew up in Gainesville, Florida and was raised to be a Gator. She earned her Bachelor of Science degrees in both Nutrition and Zoology from the University of Florida and graduated cum laude. Dr. Anderson continued on, receiving her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Florida. Graduating at the top of her class, Dr. Anderson was inducted into the prestigious dental honor society OKU. She then completed the University of Florida’s highly competitive Advanced Education in General Dentistry program in St. Petersburg, Florida where she gained invaluable experience with cosmetic and implant dentistry as well as complex full-mouth dental care.
Dr. Anderson greatly values the importance of continually learning and is committed to continuing education. She completed an intensive one year implant training course, Implant Educators, and continues to pursue many hours of post-graduate dental education at The Spear Institute and The Dawson Academy studying occlusion. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association and Florida Dental Association. Dr. Anderson has earned her Masters in the Academy of General Dentistry as well as the International College of Oral Implantologists. This is a distinction only 2% of general dentists in the United States and Canada achieve.
