Education:
Dr. Shah received his dental degree in India at K. M. Shah dental college, where he received a Gold Medal for outstanding educational achievements. He continued his journey of education and knowledge at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in New Jersey. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with Honors. During this program he was selected for the highly competitive Community Oriented Dental Education program. He is member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, and Guilford County Dental Society.

Giving Back to Society:
He has participated in several Mission of Mercy programs and Indian Health Service programs and has done other volunteering to provide care to underserved populations. In his career of over 10 years since graduating, he has provided his services to a wide range of people and all age groups.

Lifelong Learning:
Dr. Shah believes in being a lifelong learner. He is learning and using scientifically proven techniques and technologies to provide the best care to his patients. He continues to expand his knowledge by attending several continuing education programs. His utmost attention to detail has helped him to achieve excellence.

Quality Care:
Dr. Shah utilizes his expertise in various entities to get the best functional and esthetic final result. He provides complete care to patients including examinations, cleaning, fillings, crowns, veneers, dentures, partials, implant restorations, root canal treatments, whitening, night guards, extractions, and other oral surgeries, so patients can get their dream smile after coming to his dental office.

Despite all these things to offer, his best skill set is his positive attitude, charming smile, and compassion to care. He takes pride in knowing he provides the highest quality of care tailored to his patients’ individual needs and desires. Dr. Shah and his team are here to make the overall experience stress-free and “Pleasant.”

COVID Measures:
During these troubling times of COVID, Dr. Shah and his team are committed to providing a safe environment for patients and staff. A newly constructed space allowed him to change the layout to accommodate the new needs of this time. He has implemented extra measures to follow strict sterilization techniques and use air filtration and purification.

Personal Interests:
When not at work, he spends time enjoying nature and traveling. He loves to go on hikes in the mountains or spend some time on a serene beach with his two handsome sons (Shiv, 5 years old, and Om, 3 years old) and his beautiful wife, Shruti. He loves reading non-fiction, leadership, and motivational books. His other hobby is being indulged in delicious food cooked by his wife.

Dr. Shah’s patients have said that his genuine and compassionate care has changed their attitude and perception of “dental visits” and now they look forward to their appointments. Dr. Shah is excited to offer a similar experience to you at Pleasant Dental.
