They were authorized for one procedure, but did something totally unauthorized not once, but twice. As a result, I was billed for services my ins. only covers for 3 yrs. This led to duplicate charges, and unexpected out-of-pocket expenses, as my insurance company denied the claims due to the lack of pre-approval. Despite making payments throughout the treatment, I was later presented with substantial charges for procedures that were neither authorized nor covered. The practice's financial policy, which I signed under the assumption of standard billing practices, was used to enforce these charges, leaving me with limited recourse. I have initiated an appeal through the appropriate channels and am waiting a resolution. However, this experience has highlighted a significant lack of transparency and communication from the dental office.
